COVID-19 Policies & Procedures

Last updated: 1/10/24

Please read carefully through the following guidelines before signing up for a class or booking a studio tour.

*Morning Ceramics Studio is continuously monitoring recommendations put out by local and state government, and the Center for Disease Control. Should any guidelines change, all members, students, and staff will be updated via email and policies will be in effect immediately.*

  • We highly encourage all members, students, & visitors to stay up to date with CDC recommended vaccinations.
All staff are vaccinated and up to date with any required boosters.

  • Masks are not required but are highly encouraged, especially for those who have recently travelled or been in contact with someone sick.

  • Instructors have ultimate say over mask requirements during class time. An instructor or member of staff may ask you to mask up at any time if they feel it is necessary, so please bring a mask with you to each class/visit.

  • Masks must fit appropriately and fully cover the nose and month.

  • If you have been exposed to COVID-19 or are experiencing any symptoms, please do not come to the studio

  • Hands should be washed and/or sanitized regularly during any time spent at the studio.

  • There is only one person allowed at the sink at a time.

  • All members and students are expected to maintain appropriate distance from others while moving through the studio.

  • Please be respectful of other people's personal space and do not enter into their workspace unnecesarily.

  • Anyone not adhering to these guidelines may be asked to leave the studio for the day, or permanently without refund.

  • Classes are limited to 8 students each.

  • Wheels and workstations have been socially distanced.

  • Please be aware that there may be occasions when staff/students must pass by at closer range.

  • Due to extremely limited capacity, we can not offer make-up classes at this time.

  • Students are encouraged to bring their own personal hand towel and apron. Community towels/aprons are not available at this time.

  • Refunds must be requested 7 days prior to the beginning of any workshops or classes.

  • We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges, within 7 days of the start of a workshop or class for any reason.

  • Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Should any part of a class / workshop be postponed due to COVID-19, Morning Ceramics Studio will reschedule the remainder of the session as soon as possible. The class / workshop will be considered rescheduled, not cancelled, and therefore we are unable to offer any refunds.
