Cozy Winter Village

Don your warmest socks and fuzziest fall sweater and join us for a 2-day, hands-on session of handbuilding. We'll walk you through all the steps to craft your very own set of festive winter village models, perfect for warming any apartment, mantle, bookshelf, dinner table, or to gift as a keepsake or holiday goodie!

On the first day, we'll guide you through a big session of building – showing you how to create and shape your perfect little town using the beginner-friendly pinch, slab, and hollowing techniques. By the end of the day, you'll have made the essential structures of your village, which will be left to dry and will set the stage for a day of detailed decorating and perfecting in the next session.

The following week we’ll decorate our towns to the nines using carving and texturing tools, and underglaze to give your mini homes a perfect winter coat! This should take the majority of the time, though there are endless opportunities to make and add in precious little extras, like snowy trees, a mini dog house, or the neighborhood children’s favorite snowman with any remaining time.

Expect to make 2-3 structures and a handful of mini companion figures. We’ll have your winter village fired, glazes, and back to you in a few weeks.

• Experience recommended: None! All you’ll need are some clothes you don't mind getting a little dirty and a good attitude!

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.
