About the class
Instructor: Katya
Scheduling a coffee date? Sharing a meme over Instagram? Leaving a beautifully heartfelt voice memo detailing all the ways you appreciate them? Nah, the true way to express how much some one means to you is to lovingly hand make them their very own little bird out of clay.
Introducing, Friendship Chickens! From the mind of Party Hard Ceramics, this beginner handbuilding workshop will guide you in making little chickens (or ducks, parakeets, kiwis, nuthatches, any bird you fancy really!) to share with someone you care about. Learn how to build and shape your bird using basic handbuilding techniques, and add optional details using carving tools and attachments, before decorating your avian creation with as much or as little consideration for your friend's suggestions as you like :) We'll fire and finish them up, ready to pick up a few weeks later. ~ Roses are red, violets are blue - I made you a chicken, 'cause I think you're cool ~
Experience Requirement: None!
What's included: Materials and tools for use during the workshop
What you'll be making: 1 handmade lil' bird, with option to purchase and keep more!
