Handbuilding Project Lab (6pm)

Looking to refine your current projects and turn those sketchbook ideas into reality? This class, led by Erika Rier, is the next step in your handbuilding journey. Together, we’ll build on the basics—slab work, coiling, and pinching—and show you how to blend techniques to bring your vision to life. We’ll guide you through every stage, from concept design, to building and shaping, all the way through decorating and finishing with glaze.

This class is all about your ideas, so bring your imagination, and a notebook, to kick off the new year creatively!

Classes run from January 8 through February 26 on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm.

Class includes clay and firing allowance, house glazes, a personal tool kit, and 24 hours of instruction.

Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!
