Intro Handbuilding (6pm)

Join us for an 8 week, project based journey through the methodical practice of handbuilding. Perfect for newcomers and total clay beginners, or those looking to take a relaxing break from the potter's wheel! Start from square one with wedging and shaping clay, and learn how to apply techniques of pinching, slab building, coiling, and surface decoration to make everything from cups, mugs, and bowls, to sculptures, trinkets, creatures, and more!

Classes run from June 25 through August 13 on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm.

Class includes clay and firing allowance, house glazes, a personal tool kit, and 24 hours of instruction.

Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!

• Transportation of Clay: The average weight of a new bag of clay is 25 pounds. We are prepared to assist if you require assistance with transporting heavier items.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.
