About the class

A Japanese method of handbuilding, Kurinuki focuses on creating an object from a solid block of clay. We will be exploring this technique, focusing on how to carve out lidded boxes, paint pallets, and tea bowls. Students can expect to make up to 3 pieces with the option to fire them here at the studio.
