About the class

Instructor: Carina

This 8-week, Level 2 Wheel class is designed for returning students who feel comfortable with the basics and want more focused time on the wheel. Emphasis is placed on repetition, consistency, and expanding your range of forms, with space to explore new ideas and really lean into what you enjoy making.

Core curriculum may include the following, but students are also welcome to bring individual goals + projects to class. Your instructor will provide individualized guidance to support skill development, confidence, and personal growth.

  • Strengthening foundational skills (centering, pulling, shaping)

  • Throwing repeat forms for consistency

  • Lidded and closed forms

  • Adding creative attachments (knobs, feet, handles, etc.)

  • Throwing larger forms with increased efficiency

Classes run from March 3 through April 21 on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm. 🍀 Please note, class WILL be taking place on March 17th - St. Patrick's Day 🍀

Class includes clay and firing allowance, house glazes, a personal tool kit, and 24 hours of instruction.

Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!
