About the class
Instructor: Erika
Geared towards both beginners, and returning handbuilders, this 8-week, mixed level class will delve into every corner of the methodical and meditative world of handbuilding. With foundations of pinching, slab, and coil building - learn how to carefully and intentionally shape clay into stunning pieces - from mugs, bowls, and planters, to mini sculptures, abstract forms, and more! Bring some personal goals and projects and our instructor will meet you where you're at, sharing tailored and focused practices that can help you get the very best results from your clay.
Classes run from January 7 through February 25 on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm.
Class includes clay and firing allowance, house glazes, a personal tool kit, and 24 hours of instruction.
Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!

Cancellation Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.

Studio Access: Our main entrance includes a set of steps. However, an alternative accessible entrance is available upon request.
Transportation of Clay: The average weight of a new bag of clay is 25 pounds. We are prepared to assist if you require assistance with transporting heavier items.
