This quick and breezy handbuilding mini-class will walk you through crafting a sun-kissed collection of sweet mugs, without eating up too much summer sunshine.

The perfect place to start your pottery passion - Mug Mini is ideal as either a refresher for those who took ceramics once upon a time, or for anyone who has taken a one-off handbuilding workshop and is looking to experience a little bit more. Classes will meet once a week for 3 hours and all work during this session will take place during class hours. We will spend a whole session dedicated to building, decorating, & glazing.

Class Schedule:

• Week 1: Mug concept design + building (coils)

• Week 2: Building (slabs)

• Week 3: Underglaze + surface design

• Week 4: Glazing

Classes run from July 22nd through August 12th on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm.

Class includes clay and firing allowance, glaze, and 12 hours of instruction.

*Any Handbuilding 101 or equivalent experience recommended, but not required!

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.
