Perfecting Plates

Learn how to make stunning plates in this two-day, wheel throwing workshop lead by Brett Wulc.

In this workshop, we take a deep look into creating smooth, professional-looking tableware surfaces that stack into lovely sets. We’ll touch on all of the major areas of plate making, from efficient clay preparation, to effective throwing, safe drying, trimming and more!

The workshop will include cone 6 clay and bisque firing for 2-4 plates.

• Experience recommended: Wheel throwing basics or intermediate equivalent
• What to bring: Hand towel, apron, and notebook & pen.
• Schedule: Friday Jun 28, 10am to 1pm (Throwing) & Sunday Jun 30, 10am to 1pm (Trimming)
