Raku Making

Join in for an evening of guided making with master potter Joe Robinson. This workshop will focus on using raku-specific materials and building techniques to get the most out of this exciting firing technique! Handbuilding, wheel throwing, or a mix of both encouraged!

The workshop will include clay, storage, and bisque firing for 6-10 small/medium bisque (under 6 inches) or 2-4 large bisque pieces 

• What to Bring: Students are encouraged to bring their personal tools, apron, and hand towel.
• Experience Requirement: Some previous experience required — students should be comfortable with the basics of handbuilding and throwing.
