Handbuilt Lamp Making (6pm)

PLEASE NOTE - THE FIRST CLASS ON OCTOBER 19TH WILL MEET AT 5PM.

ALL OTHER CLASSES WILL TAKE PLACE FROM 6PM TO 9PM.

Make the perfect statement piece for your living room and earn the right to say "Oh, it's just a little something I made". 

This workshop is for intermediate handbuilding students who are ready to stick a foot out of their comfort zone. Students will construct, decorate, and glaze their own pieces before adding gold luster accents and, finally, wiring their piece!

Come with a few ideas or sketches, leave with a custom, decorated, functioning lamp!

Classes run from October 19th through November 16th on Wednesdays from 6pm to 9pm.

Class includes clay and firing, glazes, luster, and lamp wiring.

What to Bring: A notebook and a few rough sketches / ideas for your lamp. 

Experience Required: Completion of Introduction to Handbuilding or equivalent

October 19 - Building (includes Open Studio Access*)

October 26 - Decorating (includes Open Studio Access*)

November 2 - Glazing

November 9 - Luster Lab

November 16 - Wiring

*3 hours uninstructed work time, available Wed - Sun: 10am - 5pm

PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED - please bring this to your first class session. For proof of vaccination please provide one of the following:

Classes will take place in our socially distanced work stations and masks are required.

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 10 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges, within 10 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 10% processing fee.
