Level Up Wheel (10am)

Let's bend the rules and dive into the world of the wheel as a tool for producing components to assemble! If you feel alright about throwing a cylinder and are looking for a little extra zest, this 6 week exploration of functional forms is for you. Push past the goal of symmetrical, round forms and expand your boundaries by squashing, shaping, cutting, darting, and remixing thrown elements into elevated and articulate utilitarian objects. Think flattened flasks, squared planters, lobed vases, and faceted cups -- let's have a little fun on a new level of wheel throwing!

Classes run from October 17th through November 22nd on Tuesdays from 10am to 1pm.

Class includes clay and firing allowance, glazes, a personal tool kit, and 18 hours of instruction.

Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!

Wed - Sun: 10am - 5pm

PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED - please bring this to your first class session. For proof of vaccination please provide one of the following:

Classes will take place in our socially distanced work stations and masks are required.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges, within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.
