Mixed Level Handbuilding (Making Sets)

Get set(s), and go in this 6 week handbuilding course for beginners and returners alike. Delve into different methods for producing sets of matching and complimentary cups, mugs, and plates - using paper templates and hump & slump molds as a launching point to develop a unified body of work. Experience the materiality of handbuilding with clay, exploring texture, surface development, and how to plan the order of operations when making a piece.

Classes run from October 16th through November 21st on Mondays from 10am to 1pm.

Class includes clay and firing allowance, glazes, a personal tool kit, and 18 hours of instruction.

Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned. Open studio is highly recommended to get the most out of the class!

Wed - Sun: 10am - 5pm

PROOF OF COVID-19 VACCINATION IS REQUIRED - please bring this to your first class session. For proof of vaccination please provide one of the following:

Classes will take place in our socially distanced work stations and masks are required.

Cancellation Policy

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know 7 days before your class/workshop begins. We are unable to offer refunds, transfers, or exchanges, within 7 days of the start of a class/workshop for any reason. Any refunds issued are subject to a 5% processing fee.
