About the class
An intermediate look into the delicate world of porcelain.
This project-based class will cover it all, from stacking techniques for going larger, to handbuilding decorative wind chimes & bells. Students will dive into carving techniques, unveiling the translucent qualities of the clay and will each have the chance to throw, carve, and construct their own pendant lamp to take home.
For once, the porcelain will say that YOU’RE hard to work with.
Casses run from October 11th through November 15th on Mondays from 6pm to 9pm.
Class includes clay and firing allowance, glazes, a personal tool kit, pendant fixture, and 18 hours of instruction.
Students also have access to 3 hours of uninstructed, open studio time per week to practice what they've learned.
Open Studio hours:
Wed - Sun: 10am - 5pm
Classes will take place in our socially distanced work stations and masks are required at all times.
Please make sure you have carefully read through our latest COVID-19 Policies before signing up.
